Uptick Updates | Upward Wallet v1.0.4, New Marketplace Feature
In this edition of Uptick Updates, we walk you through the latest version of the Upward Wallet, with some exciting new features and enhancements, along with the unveiling of a brand new Uptick NFT Marketplace feature aimed at improving the user-experience for creators.

Added QR Code Scanning for Purchases
In a bid to enhance the synergy between Upward and the Uptick NFT Marketplaces, we’ve integrated a scanning feature for QR codes, enabling the purchase of NFTs directly within Upward.
This new function allows users to seamlessly connect with and acquire NFTs from the Uptick Chain and IRISnet marketplaces, enhancing user experience.
Look for the ‘Scanning’ icon in the upper right corner of the Upward app, and simply scan the NFT QR code on the listed NFT details page to initiate your purchase!
Marketplace Support
Currently, this feature only supports NFTs from the Uptick Chain Marketplace and the Uptick on IRISnet Marketplace. We plan to extend support to other Uptick EVM marketplaces gradually.
Sales Model Support
At this moment, only purchases with a ‘Fixed price’ and those using a ‘Receiving code’ are supported. For NFTs listed under special sales methods such as ‘Timed Auction’ and ‘Discounted Sale,’ please use the Uptick NFT Marketplace directly.
Chain Selection
When purchasing NFTs, users will need to switch to the appropriate blockchain first. Should there be any inconsistency, Upward will guide you through the process of switching. Once completed, you’re invited to scan the QR code again to proceed with your purchase.
Added German and Turkish Language Support
Understanding the diversity of our user base, we’ve now added support for German and Turkish languages. This enhancement is aimed at providing a more inclusive and user-friendly experience.
You can easily switch languages by navigating to ‘Settings’ > ‘Language’
Addition of ‘Privacy Policy’ and ‘Terms of Service’
Committing to transparency and trust, we’ve introduced accessible ‘Privacy Policy’ and ‘Terms of Service’ documents. These can be reviewed at any time within the ‘Settings’ section of the Upward app, ensuring users are well-informed about their rights and responsibilities.
Fixed Known Bugs
In our continuous effort to enhance the reliability and performance of Upward, this update addresses several known bugs identified in previous versions. These fixes are aimed at improving the overall user experience, and ensuring smooth operation. We are committed to delivering a seamless experience and encourage users to report any issues they encounter, helping us to further refine and improve the Upward Wallet.
Customizable Profile URLs
With this release, we are excited to introduce a new feature that allows users to customize their profile URLs, mirroring the existing functionality for collection URL customization.
This enhancement empowers users to create more personalized and memorable URLs for their profiles, enabling easier access and sharing.
After setting up, your personal homepage can be accessed through these short, customized URLs, further enhancing the user experience on our platform. This feature is designed to be set up independently, providing users with the flexibility to choose a URL that best represents their identity or brand within the marketplace.
