Uptick Network | Anniversary & Phase II Cosmos Plan Announcement
As the first ever NFT marketplace in the Cosmos ecosystem, our production-level version of Uptick NFT marketplace was launched on March 12th, 2021. Today, we are excited to celebrate the first anniversary of Uptick NFT marketplace, and would like to share the exciting news we have leading into the next step of our journey.

Uptick Network is the business grade NFT infrastructure in the Cosmos ecosystem, consisting of three major phases in the overall strategy:
Phase I
Build and operate our inter-chain NFT marketplace and incubate the NFT infrastructure, gaining experience by successfully running the production-level NFT marketplace we know today as Uptick.
This goal was achieved by the core team, along with good participation from the global creators and community. Uptick NFT marketplace has the richest and most varied NFT assets on Cosmos, a host of worldwide creators, multiple NFT categories supporting various media formats, and has the most used web and mobile terminals in the entire Cosmos ecosystem.
Phase II
Launch Uptick Chain and join the Cosmos ecosystem as a layer 1 zone focusing on the NFT related baseline support and infrastructure development.
The infrastructure built in Phase I will be opened to the public, especially to the NFT application developer community, and will continue to evolve along with new modules and scenario support. Uptick NFT marketplace will continue to be upgraded and operated as the leading NFT business platform.
Phase III
With the already proven business grade qualifications for a robust NFT infrastructure under our belt, a multi/interchain supported NFT marketplace, and a host of rich success cases of NFT applications led by the global dev community and enterprises, Uptick Network will become the completely open NFT infrastructure with an innovative multi-chain token economy model, supporting all types of NFT related businesses, and most homogeneous and heterogeneous networks. Together, we are building the next global NFT-based decentralized web 3.0 economy.
During the year of Phase I, the Uptick Network team has made constant and solid progress, backed up by strong community consensus and satisfaction. That last point is incredibly important to us, because we strive to listen to and take on board all feedback from the community. We have been laying the foundations to create a solid and robust infrastructure, capable of supporting the next evolution and step in this NFT journey.
We are now happy to announce that Uptick Network is fully ready to launch Phase II. More details will be released in the coming week via our social channels.
First steps of Phase II (Starting March 14th)
Uptick chain is now ready for the March Testnet launch. Uptick Chain is a zone in the IBC network, built on COSMOS SDK, and with EVM support, fully focusing on the NFT related infrastructure and scenarios.
Besides the full speed running of Uptick NFT marketplace, the special test version of the NFT app for Uptick chain will be available along with the Testnet for community participation. The incentive program will be built as part of the test plan.
Very soon we will launch our new website/whitepaper, and Uptick Network’s token economy model will be revealed and applied into the existing Uptick NFT marketplace, and upcoming Uptick Mainnet.
Therefore, $UPTICK will be available to the community very soon.
