It’s been another super busy month in the world of Uptick, so let’s dive in!
This month, we were excited to unveil our latest product, the Upward Wallet!
This significant addition to Uptick Network’s suite of tools is designed to enhance interaction within the Web3 space. Recognizing the challenges users encounter when trying to manage their crypto assets both securely and conveniently, Upward Wallet is a solution that seamlessly blends security with simplicity, aimed at boosting the widespread adoption of Web3 applications.
Essentially, we want to make Web3 as easy as possible for the general public, without compromising on its features.
What are some of the key features of the Upward Wallet?
As a non-custodial wallet, Upward places a strong emphasis on ensuring that users retain complete control over their digital assets. It simplifies the setup process and supports an extensive range of blockchain networks, encompassing Cosmos and EVM chains. Upward is more than just a way to store assets, it is equipped with functionalities for transferring tokens across a wide variety of different chains, engaging in governance through proposals and staking, and securely managing NFTs, including providing cross-chain support to increase liquidity.
As mentioned, Upward Wallet is designed with a user-friendly approach, offering the option of straightforward wallet creation linked to social IDs such as Apple ID, or Google for enhanced convenience without sacrificing security. Additionally, it incorporates ICS-721 NFT support and a contacts feature to streamline transactions, aimed at delivering a comprehensive and accessible Web3 experience.
Looking to the future, the launch of Upward Wallet represents a significant milestone in our journey towards creating a more interconnected and user-friendly digital asset ecosystem. While this is just the beginning of the product journey, we believe it showcases our continuous dedication to innovation within the space, reaffirming our commitment to the community’s growth and the broader adoption of Web3.
Upward Update V1.03
After listening to community feedback, we are also pleased to showcase the first full feature update for the app, with the following additions:
Network Search Function
Added a search feature in the ‘Add Network’ section to simplify the addition of new networks.
UI Improvements
Enhanced the interface for easier navigation of staking, voting, and IBC transfers.
Wallet Name Expansion
Wallet names can now be up to 25 characters, allowing for more descriptive names.
Password Characters
Wallet passwords now support a broader range of characters, improving security.
Logo Optimization
The Uptick Chain logo has been refined for better visibility and distinction.
Traditional Chinese Language Support
We’ve expanded our language options to include Traditional Chinese.

In light of our attendance to the Art Basel event in Hong Kong; a focal point where tradition meets the avant-garde, we’ve also put together a special edition of Uptick Curated, featuring a selection of 10 standout #NFTs from the series ⤵️

The introduction of version 2.1 and its subsequent update, 2.1.1 presents new features aimed at elevating the marketplace’s functionality and appeal.

Users can now set any NFT they own as their profile avatar. This feature comes with a unique ‘NFT’ icon next to the avatar, signaling its special status. However, avatars will revert to their default state if the NFT is listed for sale or transferred, ensuring profiles accurately reflect current holdings.
Dynamic Homepage Display
Our homepage and ‘Explore’ section now dynamically showcase a rotation of NFTs. This update aims to provide a fresh and engaging user experience each time you visit, highlighting the diverse and creative pieces available on our platform.
Enhanced Search Functionality
The 2.1 update makes it easier to locate specific orders with a new search feature on the ‘Orders’ page. Users can search by NFT name, buyer, or seller, streamlining the process of navigating through transaction histories.
Elevating Collections with Enhanced Data Visualization
With the 2.1.1 update, we’ve introduced a more intuitive way to explore data related to NFT collections.
This includes displaying unique and total items within a collection and offering an array of enhanced metrics such as Creator Royalty, Listed Ratio, Unique Owners, Floor Price, Best Offer, and Total Volume. These metrics are intended to provide a comprehensive overview of market dynamics, collection value, and to support creators by ensuring they receive ongoing revenue from their creations.
All these updates reflect Uptick NFT’s commitment to enhancing the platform through feedback and innovation. By improving how users interact with NFTs and providing deeper insights into collections, we aim to deliver a more informative, engaging, and user-friendly experience on the Uptick NFT Marketplace.

The Game of Interchain NFTs event celebrated the culmination of dedicated efforts to advance the ICS-721 protocol, marking a significant milestone in promoting cross-chain functionality within the NFT ecosystem. Thanks to the integration on both the Uptick on IRISnet NFT Marketplace and the Uptick Chain NFT Marketplace, we’ve transformed prior visions into a reality, further bridging the gap between technological innovation and active community engagement.
The time to claim your rewards for participating in the Game of Interchain NFTs has officially begun. Participants are required to have completed all event prerequisites and must connect their participating wallet account to verify and claim their rewards.

The event featured two distinct cross-chain games, each associated with a specific marketplace. We encouraged everyone to engage in both games to maximize their reward potential.

Rewards can be claimed from March 14, 2024, at 15:00 to April 14, 2024, at 15:00 (UTC+8). Ensure you claim your rewards within this timeframe to avoid missing out.

Participants had the opportunity to claim rewards in both UPTICK and IRIS, along with an “Interchain NFT Pioneer” NFT reward, signifying their pioneering role in embracing and promoting cross-chain NFT interactions on Uptick.
This initiative highlighted the technological progress within the NFT space and also served as a thank-you to our community for their enthusiastic participation and support. By creating a more interconnected NFT ecosystem, we continue to pave the way for future innovations and opportunities for engagement across multiple chains.
